Creating great products and ideas

Hello people, I’m an entrepreneur, software engineer and podcaster based in Denver, CO. Born and raised in Colorado, I am a human interested in humans and love to build relationships and solutions to people's problems.

My story

I What does it mean to live courageously?

How can we excel in our careers, relationships, self-development, and passions?

Life is chaotic, let’s cut through the noise. Join me for conversations about all of these things on the C&S Podcast.

A little bit about me:

My parents are from Mexico, my dad grew up shining shoes and selling gum on the streets to afford food.Through education, focused effort, and the support of others, I’ve been able to thrive despite growing up poor with no network.

I led a startup company of 8 employees while at university. Although we never took off, I learned valuable lessons in leadership, business, and perseverance.

I graduated college as a first-generation Mexican student and landed a job at the 5th largest company in the world - Amazon.
There I am working on building the world’s leading cloud platform - AWS.

I’ve run two marathons and I am training to run an ultra-marathon and an Ironman.

I’m the host on the Carrots and Sticks Podcast, where I’m having conversations about living courageously through radical honesty, accountability and vulnerability.

Glad to have you here!
